I was wondering where musicans keep extra picks while on stage?
I have seen pick holders that can attach behind the headstock, or connected to a mike stand.
I just wanted to ask where you would grab another pick, if you dropped on stage while playing..?

depends on the show I guess ... last night I played a show with multiple acts and we used 'house' amps. So not too much chance to get comfortable - I kept a couple extra picks in my pants pocket. Usually I have a few floating around in my pedal board.

In my pocket and sometimes attached to mic stand.

I don't gig, but if I did I wouldn't drop it...

Actually I would use my pocket, on top of the amp, etc.

I don't song, so I can't do the mic stand trick, unless I had a stand for them that wasn't used for a mic.

my strap has a small pick pocket. I hust keep a few in there, and it's an easy reach should I drop one.

I'll stay well away from your strap, then!

 Top of the amp. I'm a bass player and don't use a pick that often, but that's where I keep 'em. When I'm done playing a picked tune, I fling the pick out into the audience like a real rockstar! 8) After the show i pick 'em up off the floor.

Hi Dolores. I keep several on top of my rig or whatever amp I am using although I can't remember the last time that I dropped a pick at a gig lol. On second thought, I usually am the picture of calmness at a show but you couldn't pry my pick loose with pliers, all of my nervousness between the surfaces of thumb and forefinger
