Hey guys,

I bought one of these finger exercisers last week and I have to thoroughly recommend them! I've used it probably an hour a day, and already my hands are so much stronger, quicker and more precise.

I'm not an advertiser as you know, but I just thought I'd recommend it - it's a great warm up tool when you don't have your guitar with you.

"Gripmaster. Fancy a squeeze?"

Lol I could never be in advertising.

Don't use it too much, you'll get carpal tunnel - seriously. And that won't be good for your playing.

Beethoven (maybe Chopin) nearly crippled himself trying to use weights on his fingers to improve his playing.

Setting your action up higher and playing a lot will strengthen your fingers too.

Repetitive, strenuous movements. Tennis, typing, assembly line workers, some musicians - part of the trade. You stress your hands the same way, over and over again, and that's certainly a possibility.

I had the extra-strong black one a few years back. Used it all the time. I felt my hands tightening up, instead of loosening (no matter how much i tried to loosen then), and started getting tingling feeling in the center of my palm. I threw it out and just "work out" on my acoustic now.
