Happy Birthday. Buy yourself a new guitar and amp to celebrate. :D

I'll be 60 in April. :(

Besides, in musician years, 50 is like 30 compared to the normal folk. It keeps you young.

Sure. Like Keef Richards and Steven Tyler, who are so much younger than their years. Er.

Happy Birthday, 50 isn't a bad number, having reached 69 in December, I'm leaning toward 70. Regardless, it's being above ground that counts, and I can still play my guitar.

I turned fifty in july and I feel great. Pretty much like thirty, no lie. Here's the deal though... I quit drinking three years ago, I quit smoking two years ago. I bodybuild four days a week, eat healthy, and I stay out of the sun other that for fun, mountain biking, music stuff, hanging out with my girlfriend. Treat yourself well and you'll feel well. It works for me. Try it and see.

Meanwhile, i haven't given up on things - in fact, I started vaping because it can be done most places.
I eat whatever I want. I don't turn down my favorite food because its "unhealthy". I ask for a good bottle of wine to go with it. My favorite dessert is Irish Coffee, and I don't think of what it contains before ordering, nor make a plan to burn it off. I simply enjoy it.
When you're at the gym, I'm at the pub getting elbow exercise. Having fun and laughing. And/or spending the time playing guitar. Life's been good to me so far.
Yes, treat yourself well and you'll feel well. It works for me too.
