After reading, listening, and posting on WalrusGumBoots thread a thought occurred to me. If you could only have one, would your rather posses a great musical ability or posses great musical equipment? My vote is in.... :D

I've got mad skills and I don't feel the need to own any vintage gear.

This is a tough one, considering all of my gear is older than me, and I'm really only a rhythm player.

Yes, it is a tough question because I already have both.

Why does it have to be vintage gear. Why not just good gear. I would rather have the skills with good gear that let's my skills shine. I have vintage gear which I love to play at home for myself but when I play out I use my soldano.

Right now I'd like a nice steak with pepper sauce, why is that not an option?

im loving the fact that half the forum members so far would just as happily take a steak with peppercorn sauce than have mad skills. Maybe fender should add `the steak lounge` to their list of forums?

I'd rather have vintage gear that I can display mad skills on.
