Which is not to say you wouldn't be a successful gigging band with your style and sound...you have a great vibe and, as I said earlier, I would go see a band like yours (especially if you put on a good show and have some stage presence).

Seconded. Nothing wrong with your style if you and the audience have a good time!

Thirded. :D

Well thank you. From what I can gather, our sound has been getting a very good response. It was not expected. It's weird too, because I didn't even stop to think that perhaps this kind of music might not be that popular. We just went for it! I think we're all happy with it, so that's all we could really ask for.

As for the amps, we plan on using them again when we go back to finish up the album this spring. I'm sure we can stir all kinds of trouble up with them then too! Haha.

Oh, and in case anyone's interested, we do have a Facebook page now. We've been posting up a lot of pictures from the studio (with more to come).

Cool songs. The tone was spot on for your style.

Really like your drummer. He's got the chops.

Alright - so 3 months later and we did a whole album.

We used the Vaporizers on the initial sessions back in January, so five of the songs were recorded with those. The other 5 were recorded in May with a 70's Deluxe Reverb, and a reissue Vox AC-15.

Guitar wise, I stuck mainly with my modified Strat (MIM '95 neck, MIM '98 body, and Fat 50's pickups), Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster, and (for lead bits here and there) Epiphone Casino. The other guitarist used a '72 reissue Telecaster deluxe for every song.

Here's the album: http://theroaringjuniors.bandcamp.com/album/separation-anxiety

If you can spot which songs were recorded with Vaporizers, and which songs were recorded with the Vox and Deluxe Reverbs then you win some kind of prize.
