No, this isn't just to promote my band or our new record (although, I suppose that's a plus). I wanted to show everyone the sound of the new Vaporizer.

The other guitarist in my band and I both purchased slate blue Vaporizers from Sweetwater last week before we went into the studio. They were used for all of the rhythm tracks. I played a Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster and an Epiphone Casino, and he played a Tele.

I also recorded the bass (with a Hofner w/ flatwounds) through the Excelsior. Also recorded all of the lead guitar with the Excelsior as well.

Give it a listen and you can get a good idea of how the amps sound... if you want!

I like the songs too. Kind of reminds of Herman's Hermits, Chad and Jeremy etc. But the sound isn't working for me either. I'm sorry. The tone is seriously harsh and abrasive. It's a shame too because you guy were like a blast from the past. It's not original or new musically but your songs have a hook and they're easy to listen to. It's a shame you didn't move up the food chain in the amp department.

Wow, great vibe. Very energetic with a retro'ish feel. Great tone, great music, and very well produced/recorded. Keep up the good work. Just goes to show, when you're talented and know what you're doing, the equipment is secondary to the music/vibe.

Well, now I am a fan of the Roaring Juniors!

For those of us cash-strapped, mid-life crises ridden husbands/dads with boring day jobs: If you could choose just ONE Fender Pawn Shop amp as a wife-begrudgingly-approved toy; would you choose Excelsior or Vaporizer? (or Ramparte?)

Thanks! I really appreciate it. Budget equipment is fun!

Great! Thanks!! I'm glad you like us!

Frankly, I don't really get the Ramparte. I've never played one, but I haven't been a fan of any of the demo videos. If I found one used I might pick it up. I'm attracted to the Pawn Shop amps. I think they make a nice collection. For a wife approved toy, I'd probably go with the Excelsior. Based purely on the fact that my fiancee said she liked it better than the Vape. It takes up a little less space than the Vape and you can get a better sound out of it at lower volumes. I'm quite happy with both though!

At first I thought the reverb on the Vape was a little much, but when you get the volume up a little higher it all makes sense.

 Fun Stuff! I like the sound & feel. Glad you bought a pair of Vaporizers.

Needs a serious re-mix as all the guitars are WAAAAAY too hot and the vocals are buried in the mix. Did you say there was a bass?

Some of it sounded good--however part of that is how it was recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, etc.
And part of it is the quality of my computer speakers.

Rock-n-roll! Sounds real good. Takes me back to my yute. In fact, I heard and liked Tobacco Road way back then. 12 hours? A go getter. Good luck in your future. :D

Thanks for posting. Cool tunes, they have a 60's pop vibe which has become new again.

The songs are pretty good. You guys would do good here in Vegas. Could have been a better production and mix. Can't hear the Bass really. Good retro vibe in the songs though.

 BUT, certainly not cheaper! :(

I enjoyed the music....very talented group, but the Vaporizer sound doesn't appeal that much to me. :|

+1

I'm not "feelin' the love" either.

Those amps might make for great window dressing on a music video though.
