I liked Robin Thicke and Chicago. That's about it. Even Willie was a bummer, with none of his old road dogs he always had for a band backing him. Well, he did have Kenny A. and Lee Sklar, who aren't part of WN's band..but are highly respected.

Lots of Made in China-looking musical instruments. Is it in style to play that stuff? Everybody went all Mr. Microphone. You don't have to invest much in music gear nowadays, I guess.

Yeah, great radio shack tone on the Grammys.

Random thoughts..

Caught the last part of it - Lukather, Frampton, etc with Ringo - then Ringo & Macca together. Liked the Carole King duet with that other piano girl. Was hoping that Sean & Dhanni would join Paul & Ringo. Urban's StratoTele sounded great! Steven Tyler...meh..Smokey did it better.

Nile Rodgers was funkin' the chunk with his Hitmaker Strat along with Stevie Wonder and cool tributes to The Everly Brothers and other fallen rockers.

Haven't watched the last few years but I wanted to tune in this year. Got hooked on a movie and forgot to switch.
