Over the past few days the missus and I have been hauling the gear out of the little old 10 X 10 music room and piling it up in the rec aka wreck room.Between the rec room and living room and all the bedrooms, there are guitars, amps, pedals, keyboards and everything else to do with music the whole house is filled with musical paraphernalia. I have taken all of my music posters (mostly Hendrix) down from the walls and I'm sure that some of them must be of considerable value by now, since they date back as far as the late 60s,I even have very rare Hendrix blacklight posters and the original "Keep On Truckin'" poster.I have a larger than life poster of Jimi at the Newport Jazz Festival with his white Strat with the Tele neck and the back line of Fender Super Showman amps. That poster alone should be worth a pretty penny.I have the centerfold posters from the original early issues of Guitar World with Clapton's Blackie, The Woodstock Strat,Springsteen's Esquire and a pile of other iconic guitars as well as the centerfold posters of the now defunct Experience Hendrix magazines.

Anyway we still have an awful lot of work ahead of us as we have to paint the walls of the old music room, haul up the old carpet,re-tile the ceiling and get new flooring put down. Then we have to move all the gear back into that room and strip out, paint, and put down new flooring in the old rec room. When both rooms are done we have to install bookcases for my hundreds (maybe thousands) of music related books and magazines as well as my thousands of car related books and magazines as well as 30 years of National Geographic and well over one hundred of their books as well as hundreds of reference books.I figure I have enough printed material to fill at least a dozen 3 ft. wide floor to ceiling bookcases-probably more-it's tough being an obsessive compulsive reader.Anyway when all that is finished I can concentrate on getting my dream of a dedicated music room finally reach fruition.

Wow, that's quite a collection you got there. Do you have those posters framed? I've seen some rock-related posters on Antiques Roadshow that are worth a few coin. Perhaps some of those might.
