3 more ideas for the Fender Signature Series

Jimi Hendrix Signature Stratocaster: I know they had one back in the late 90s, but they should really have a permanent one you could buy. Jimi is considered the guitar player and Strat player of all time. My personal favorite is All Along the Watchtower. They should have the white he mainly played, and a few of the other ones he used like the black or sunburst ones. They could even make a right handed strung left handed version like they way he played.

Tom Hamilton Signature Precision Bass: In the early days of Aerosmith, Tom exclusively used a modified '51 Precision bass with two pickups until after Toys in the Attic. Tom is best heard on the intro to Sweet Emotion and Walk This Way. The bass would probably look like this http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_P7_24QntSnU/TQFF6LYF9iI/AAAAAAAAAMQ/FvLhQJJ-xc4/s1600/Hamilton_GK.jpeg. I know the bass he is holding is a Sadowsky, but it would probably look the same.

John Frusciante Signature Stratocaster: The Red Hot Chili Peppers were an awesome band and John almost exclusively used pre 70's Strats like his '62. I love their song's Can't Stop, Californication, and Under the Bridge. If anyone deserves a Signatrue Strat, its him!

It would look like his '62 Strat.

He's also not around to sign anything, so that would surely have to be a tribute model, not a signature model.

I get what your saying, so I guess it would be a tribute model.

Here's an idea:

Fender could launch a bunch of silly commercials feature a Super Dave Osbourne stuntman type who has all of these horrible things happen to him at shows....but somehow, his Strat comes out of it all OK.

(Some ideas: Being electrocuted, his guitar being stolen and tossed into a ditch, fending off rabid fans with guitar, and trying to smash it onstage and failing miserably.)

And then once they've done half a dozen commercials, release the signature model.

What does that mean?

It means "I agree" or "I concur..."
