Speakin' of what is the point..I'm wondering why I even bother anymore with jamming.

I wonder that about you too! Maybe you can give me your guitars and be done with it?

He can't, he's already given them to me.

I have a cell phone , it's a simple flip phone .What do I do with it ? , make and receive calls , occasionally , that's it . It's out of my pocket only when I use it , some days it never gets used at all .
I have an Ipod , I use that a lot more than my cell phone , there are well over 1000 songs on it and some great play lists . When I practice playing drums , I have a drum groove play list that I play along with , sometimes I use the Ipod and jam along on the guitar.
One of those holder thingy's would be handy , let's say ,clamped to my hi-hat stand.

I agree ,the epidemic use of smart phones is pathetic and dangerous too , the number of idiots I see daily dicking around with phones while driving is frightening ! . A couple of years ago , a friend of mine was killed by a teenage girl that was texting while driving , she ran right over him on his motorcycle.

Where I work , better than half of the people working there are messing with personal cell phones constantly , You often cannot get their attention ,at all they are so "busy".

It's become utterly ridiculous.

Hell I still use a flip phone, I need something that won't break so I use a GZone's mil spec. You can step on it throw it in a pool drop it out the window and it still works. Only problem is they still cost 2 bills with a contract and thats a flip phone

I wonder if anyone ever made a milspec guitar.
I have a stompbox that I think could survive pretty much anything except submersion, but the axes seem rather fragile. Newer ones even more so.

I wouldn't use one on stage or anywhere I was playing. I find it kind of hilarious. I don't even answer my phone anymore. My motto is leave a message and if the message says call me, I never do. I do however use it for a mini computer quite a bit.
