I'll probably pick up the Godlyke on Friday. It has a bit more power than the 1 spot and you can connect more pedals. Its only $2 more.

I've been using the Ibanez DC-5 Splitter cords since Moses wore short pants. They're durable and inexpensive. I think I currently have two of these stuffed in a box somewhere.

I bought one of these ...

... and I like it. It is as dead ringer for the one you posted but costs more.

I picked up the 1 Spot on the weekend, at the recommendation of the salesman. I haven't used it yet, but I am second guessing it. It powers up to 8 pedals. The Godlyke powers 11. After the two pedals I ordered come in (Fab Echo and Fab Chorus), I will have a total of 9 pedals. 10 if you count the overdrive I replaced.
I never use my volume pedal, so is it worth it to move to the Godlyke?
Any pros and cons between 1 Spot and Godlyke?

i know i am replying the exact opposite (in that this isn't a daisy chain but a power block) but i have to say i got the Carl Martin pro power supply and really couldn't be happier. Comes with tons of supply cables and different ends to ensure that everything gets power. Really a great little power supply

My Boss TU2 tuner can be used as a power supply for other pedals (I assume the new TU3 does this as well)...if you need a Tuner, get one of those, hook the 1Spot up to it and use it to power the pedals that are powerless... :P

SA the TU3 does it as well and that's how I do it. It works great.

I need to put together a pedal board (or two) but I have a lot of pedals -- a LOT of pedals. I would need 2 or 3 bricks which would be costly for a hobbyist such as myself, but I've heard these daisy chain style cords are noisy so I haven't taken the plunge.

Not sure how to proceed . . . when I finally do decide to proceed.

I'm going to hook it up and see if there is any noise. Hopefully I can do it tonight.
Then I'll decide if I'll keep it or not.

So I've hooked everything up and and I'm getting a lot of noise when I engage my distortion. I was using my jazzmaster in the middle setting, and when i went to switch, the toggle made noise when I touched it and big time noise when just the neck or bridge pup was on.
The wah makes a whooshing helicopter sound when the OD is on.
I'm not playing too loud as the kids are asleep.
Any suggestions?

Put a battery in the OD to see if the problem goes away. If not then you've taken your first step towards buying a voodoo labs power supply.

edit: Sorry, "If SO then you've taken your first...."

I put in a battery and still noisy, so I moved my wah after my drives and it got a bit better, but there is still a little whooshing. Its getting too late for me to experiment so I check it out tomorrow.
