Does anyone use these types of power supplies for your pedals?
I am looking at these three:

1 Spot
http://visualsound.net/1-spot-combo-pack/

Godlyke
http://www.godlyke.com/power-all/power- ... deluxe-kit

Dan Electrode
http://www.danelectrode.com/prod_da4.html

Please let me know your thoughts on these, or other similar daisy chain power supplies.
I will not be purchasing a brick style power supply at this time.

I have a 1 Spot. I've had zero problems with it. I bought it when I first started accumulating pedals. When I put my pedal board together, I got a Pedal Power2 but still use the 1 Spot when I want to quickly add in a pedal. When I get a Wah, I'll have to use the 1 Spot because I've filled up the PP2.

I use Boss's version ... that would be the standard PSA 120s power supply:

Along with the splitter cable:

I've never had any trouble at all with it.

Get any power that delivers enough amperage, then one of these:

The ferrite beads can make a big difference.

What are ferret beads and what do they do?

I know I said no brick style, because I can't afford $180 for one, but what about something like this?

I use a 1 Spot too. Here's the compatibility chart.
http://visualsound.net/1-spot-compat-chart/

I've had mine for a few years with zero problems. It even works with my vintage pedals including my 70's Fender Fuzz Wah, Mutron Micro V and Ibanez Phaser. I have no noise issues and have powered a dozen effects with it.

A ferret bead is the droppings of a domesticated mustelid.
A ferrite bead is a hollow cylinder made from what's basically a rust alloy, that encircles a point of the cable. What it does it preventing electromagnetic interference from passing from one device to another. Those types of signals travel as radio signals. The ferrite bead acts as a choke, breaking any RF signal bouncing on it.
Without it, the power cable can transfer EMI/RF noise from one pedal to another, which in turn might amplify or broadcast it. The more devices you have daisy-chained, the larger the likelihood.

This is not snake oil - you'll see these little plastic cylinders on a lot of electrical equipment, because it's a sound principle behind them, and they really work in choking RF signals passing between devices.

I use the dan electrode with the 5 connector daisy chain. I have had it for a little under a year and love it. I am thinking about getting another set-up for my other amp. Both items are very reasonably priced. 8.35 for the power and 7.68 for the daisy chain. 15.03 total layout.

Current price of dan electrode is approx. 16.00, daisy chain is 8.00. Still a good bargain. With the plummeting value of the dollar and capitalism as usual, these prices will probably go up too.

Carpe diem!

Don't waste money on wall warts or cheap bricks. Buy a decent power supply to begin with:

I used to run a mains supply to my boss tu2 pedal tuner, then a daisy chain from the tuner to my other pedals. Never a problem, running 4 pedals plus the tuner. My big muff and English muff ' used a different sized connection so had their own supply.
