However, no Gibson collection is complete without a Firebird. GAS on, my friend, GAS on.

Never found a good Firebird at the right time. I also Need an explorer!

"Branded it" ...I love that! Funny, yet practical! Amp herd is approved!

I'd like to see your pedal herd! Post a pic...

What is that in the middle of your pedal board?
Is it a Theremin?

iirc, he built a mic stand into it for easy transport.

Aaaaa, I get it now. That thing must be so heavy with all those pedals that it takes two guys to move it, so one guy gets a handle to help lift.

Kinda like a leslie...

Yep, it's heavy enough to kill the average man...so I have no problem at all.

It's actually not that heavy...and it's about to get even lighter. I'm removing the pedals that don't get used very often (a couple have already been removed before this pic was taken)...

How do you turn your amp on?

Let me guess... With a Pedal???

Nope, just a couple of switches on the back. :?:

I'll admit, it's a lot of pedals on that board, but as anyone who's heard my recordings or seen me play live can attest, I've got a very organic, natural, "unprocessed" tone.

The main reason I have so many is because I was (formerly) in a couple of bands where I was in a "fill-in-the-blanks" role, where I had to emulate many different sounds to "complete" the songs...also, two of those pedals are specifically on the board that are used (mostly) in conjunction with my harp/harp mic.

Lately, I'm using the various effects less and less--hence, the number that resides at my toes is shrinking; if I'm not "regularly" using a pedal, it will probably lose it's place in the lineup.

Nice herds, folks! 8)

Hi T2: Is that an American Vintage '62 strat, second from the left? I really like the dark rosewood fingerboard it has. Thanks.

Tornado...nope, that is a Japan domestic market 62 reissue. I got it from an old AF buddy who brought it back from Japan while he was stationed there. With the exception of the pickups, most everything is like a US model. The body is alder, the neck maple with a very sweet feeling rosewood fingerboard, solid steel block, Fender stamped steel saddles, the whole works. It does have a Poly finish, but it isn't yellowing either. It is my current favorite among my strats.

If you're looking for a GREAT echo/delay/whatever, the MXR Carbon Copy analog delay is primo!

Can't help you on a reverb pedal (I barely use the reverb on my amp!)

Used to have a Mr Springgy Reverb pedal by Lee Jackson before I got a real tank, that pedal is really nice.
