Two guitars, an ipod, my mum's expensive jewelery, some shoes, smokes and the shaver was stolen the other week. and I was lucky they didn't steal my amp as it is a 100 watt Frontman.

Sorry to hear that Nathan. So the Squier is gone? That sucks.
I was living at my bro's a few years back and the house got robbed, cash, jewelry etc.
The thieving scumbags must have walked past my Strat, on a stand at eye level, to get to the drawers. Lucky they were traveling light I guess. I did lose a ring though, of great sentimental value.
It very hard to deal with the fact that someone has invaded your space and helped themselves. I don't think I'll ever get over it. I sympathise with you and your Mum.
Fortunately we live in a relatively low-crime country. Take it easy mate.

Goodonya ...Mark.

Here where I live in South Africa we count our lucky stars when we arrive home on a daily basis to find that we have not been robbed yet. I store my musical equipment, or most of it at work in a vault and rotate the stuff that I feel like playing. Sorry to hear of your loss Nathan, it's a hard pill to swallow, and I hope those buggers poke their eyes out with a broken string.

the JM wasn't stolen. it was an epiphone special 2 and a 12 string acoustic that were stolen. i bet the burglars thought the JM was a piece of crap. but it isn't, it is worth $599 new here. I was lucky it wasn't my LP Studio. the robbery took place a few weeks ago and I'm missing my Epi Special II.

Hope all works out and you get the equipment replaced.

Dang man, sorry to hear that. Does your mum have homeowner's insurance that might help pay for replacements?

Really sorry to hear that. Well, you can replace what you've lost and move on, but whoever took it has to live with that for the rest of their lives.

Sorry, Nate.
I've been robbed before.
I hate that feeling.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

That's one of the most assholish thingsI've ever heard another musician say about gear.

+1

Even if this was meant as a joke, it sucks to be a victim of crime. As mom used to say...If you don't have something nice to say...

Oh no man! I am so so so sorry! I can’t imagine losing my guitar. Good that your amp wasn't stolen. I hope it turns around for you.
