Attended the Eagles concert last night at the recently renovated Inglewood California Forum. They are still in top form, playing for 3-plus hours. The $100 million upgrades to the Forum were apparent from in a top notch video and sound system, as well, excellent acoustics...

I'm glad they brought the Forum back. I've seen a lot of big concerts there over the years, Zeppelin, Stones. How many seats does the new forum hold now?

Saw the Eagles a few years back at JazzFest... Great Show !

On a side note, Joe Walsh visited my local go-to Git Shop a couple months ago and picked up a vintage Strat. They said he was in there trying it out for 45 min.

Of course... I missed him by 15 min.

cheers!

Yeah, they have "staying power" that seems to be missing in a lot of the current day bands.

Lenny, just curious, what was the line up, and what songs were played? Like, was Bernie there? I Heard they were talking. It would be so cool if Bernie was back.

Going to see them in June here in Dublin. Really looking forward to it.

I wanted to see them when they came to Tampa, but $120.00 for a seat in the nosebleed section was a little to rich for me. If I am going to pay $120.00 to see the Eagles, I want to be able to SEE the Eagles. I am not blaming them, if they can get it, go for it. This will most likely be their last tour, so make it while you can!

Missing someone like that by 15 minutes would be painful. I am not particularly star-struck, but meeting Joe Walsh -- to me -- would be like meeting Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, or Eddie Van Halen. To this day, I still think "You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind" is one of rock's best albums ever (don't worry, no one else agrees with me on that assessment either).

I am sorry. I did not know there were "current day bands". I thought that all ended with 1990s.
