59 was a great year for the Precision! I have to agree with the others in favor of it being gigged. I know there are some that think a vintage bass should be locked away. Personally, I can't imagine having a 59 and not gigging it. She's meant to be heard and played. Give all the kids with their crazy neck through, active pick up, 5 and 6 string monstrosities a reminder why the Precision is still "The one".

+1 on that brother!!! :D I think everyone who has an old bass should use it. I do. BUT there are some I don't or wouldn't take out - for a variety of reasons-- ROCK ON!!!
