A few acoustic threads started recently, thought I'd start a sort of "Best Of thread", players, type of guitar itself, innovations, wood, HPL, you decide feel free to post, is there an acoustic Hendrix out there? I'll start with a couple of players I've come across on youtube, hope you enjoy.
Pierre Bensusan, strung through the bridge , split saddle, and a nice chamfer on the top where your arm rests.

Mike Dawes, different type of cutaway and a "pad" of some sort on the lower horn.

We cannot forget other artists primarily known as masters of the electric guitar having a good reputation in the acoustic repertoire:

Eric Clapton

Mark Knopfler (with Chet Atkins)

Eric Johnson

David Gilmour

Here's another I came across when looking at Yamaha Acoustics, Don Alder playing one( not a Yamaha) that looks as though the fretboard was built by blind man, are those mini frets I see or fret markers? got the arm chamfer and scoop cutaway

Right on. Tommy puts on an outrageously good show. If he's in your town do not miss it!

Meanwhile, in a reflective mood, here's a gentleman I've seen more times than I can count: Antonio Forcione...

Cheers - C

Thatt's because there's no finer acoustic guitar for a fingerpicker. Lowdens really have that wonderful piano-like response in the bass strings.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
