Don't have that particular amp... but... something's def wrong if that's going on. Would have it looked at.

Never mind, I was shown that there is a thread about this and seems to be common issue with the orientation of the beads in the reverb tank. Problem solved, looking for a good tech

I've known that to happen on lots of amps, Peavey, Marshalls, Fenders to name a few. Usually it's acoustic feedback from the reverb tank transducers, shifting the reverb tank to another position in the amp makes it go away.

I had the same problem with a SS22 .....Pull out the tank and take it out of the bag. Does it have a piece of rubber stuck to the top? If it doesn't...then get some rubber weather strip with a sticky back and run along the top. I did that after seeing a Mesa tank with it on it. My SS22 did not. I put some on it and it works.
I'm not talking about that light weight door seal stuff. This is dense rubber. I cut mine to match what was on the Mesa tank. 17 inches long 1/2 inch wide 3/8 tall. I had to double stack it to get the height.. Not sure about the Twin but the SS22 tank is in close proximity to the speaker and magnet. The rubber acts as a damper to stop the vibration.. I've had no problems since. Even turning the reverb up to 10 and who does that anyway?
