To be honest, I like the Variax over the VG Strat hands down...

The VG was a letdown... :(

Thanks All!

At one time I was checking out the Variax's. They look pretty interesting.

I have the 700 in sunburst...

I dig, and you would too, if you don't mind the somewhat awkward neck profiles and body design, and love versatility and at the same time, very authentic tones...

Isn't there a program you have to buy to add different guitars to the Variax?

I am in the opposite camp, the variax felt like a toy guitar versus the VG which feels like .... well a Strat!

Chet,

Happy Anniversary, man.

I'm on wife number 2. Celebrate 12 years in August 2007.

Hhm, now what should I request for a gift?

Thank You and Congrats to you early.

The hard part is thinking of something that you are absolutely sure you want to keep for the rest of your life. Getting rid of an Anniversary present is not going to win you any awards.

That's true Chet...

I suppose an autographed guitar wouldn't be out of the question, then... right?

Thanks for the early congrats!

BP

An autographed guitar and a show case to store it would be OK.

Thanks!

Right now I'm not even GAS'n for anything. I have 4 great guitars and don't feel the need to add to that at the moment.
