I visited the fender company in corona California earlier this year in May
We got there early and when we went in a man carrying an old guitar case came in and promptly put it up on a table and started to talk to the people at the factory I went over and the man who by now was showing the guitar to the gathering group started to explain the guitars heritage this start had once belonged to mr Jimi Hendrix and he had a signed autograph and picture of Jimi plus a story that when he was a young man he met Jimi and after making friends with him Jimi gave him the guitar the people at fender were amazed at the guitar He has sent me an e mail with the complete story of the guitar I have pictures of this guitar and the case and the Hendrix signature this guitar needs to be seen by those of you who follow Hendrix
I do not know how to load up pictures on to this site also if you want he's full story I can send you on the full e mail of what he sent me the people at fender were very happy. To see the guitar and the provenance he had with the guitar it would be good to pass this story on to Hendrix fanatics

Hi,
Sounds like a great story, and would love to see the pictures. If you have a Photobucket account, you can upload your photos from your computer there, then copy the photo links at Photobucket, this appears on the right of your uploaded image. Then come here, click on the Img box in the top right, then paste your link like this - , with the http address in front. Hope that helps, I've probably confused everyone on here now - TAXI!!

The period can be very useful when composing paragraphs.

I would give my left nut just to even own one of Jimi's guitars, and probably play that sucker live!

What a disgrace to put humbuckers into a Hendrix strat! It has a beautiful color though :)

It sure looks like something Jimi would play 8)
Nathan, hang on to that nut mate. You might need it.
I'd like to read more about it (the guitar, not the nut).

Goodonya ...Mark.

lol, I just want to find a Hendrix owned strat, and here is the kicker, I might even get one for free. lol, That'd be funny, a Hendrix owned guitar for free. I'd rock that thing in the appropriate manner and try and learn lefty on that thing. lol
