Books are always great gifts for guitarists......

They never go out of tune.
There are no tubes to rattle.
The speaker never farts out.
And they never need new strings.

Enjoy the read!

Three out of four ain't bad.
I have restored books and given them new strings, so to speak. Old books were bound, and not just glued together. These days, most hardcovers are really just paperbacks with a cardboard front and back, and a fake piece of fabric glued to the top and bottom of the spine to make them look bound. But real quality books are different. They sometimes need string replacements.

I'm perusing my way through this lovely tome. An excellent book for Tele lovers, and players alike, can't recommend it higher.

This is especially true for me as other than guitars my main hobby/interest is reading.
There are two types of stores I can spend a long time in, most others are go in & get out.

But the two I like to spend time in are guitar stores and book stores.

+1

Although I'll take your guitar stores and book stores, and raise you on record stores!
I think I spend more on vinyl these days than I ever did, that includes old and new.

Since I recently got a Gibson LPJ I treated myself to the Les Paul Handbook by Paul Balmer.
