I am constantly plugging and unplugging my guitar cable from my strat output jack on a regular basis, to move to different locations at my home. Is there a coupler or some sort of device I can keep plugged in to the output jack so that I don't destroy it with the constant plugging and unplugging? I would then plug the guitar cable directly in to the coupler (and being cheap, I would be able to replace that instead of the output jack). Thanks.

I know of no such device (which doesn't mean anything--it might exist somewhere)...

However, if there were such a device, you'd probably be more likely to damage your output jack or your guitar's finish, due to it (the accessory) sticking out more.

If your output jack does break, Replacing it is fairly easy if you have any soldering skills at all...if you don't, I think the average repair shop could do it fast and cheap.

you need 1/4" male mono to 1/4" female mono. All I can find with a quick search on Amazon is extension cables and right angle adapters, but with some searching you might be able to find a straight adapter.

You could use the cable above with a short patch cable to connect it to the amp. You could leave them plugged into your amps all the time. But I think you were looking for more of an adapter on the guitar side.

Thanks. Did not like the right angle connector though.

My thoughts were the following:

Possibly (just using the one connector)

I think this is 1/4" male mono to 1/4" female mono. Need a better product pic and/or description on this one.
