Hi truebluefliplover,
Bigger isn't necessarily better...neither is 'more'. I've gone the route of filling up the Pedaltrain Jr. and even thinking I need more space. Now I'm back to usually just 3 to 4 pedals for simplicity, especially in a live performance setting. I don't care for Wah effects, so that saves a lot of space.

I'm still addicted to a variety of pedals, I just only use several at a time. More than that becomes overwhelming while performing live (both playing and singing). With Velcro, quick changes for fickle tastes are easy.

Here are a couple of very inexpensive pedals that sound great:
1) https://www.geartree.com/p-39097-joyo-j ... ables.aspx The Sweet Baby is a very mild OD and great for a solo boost just slightly more overdriven than a clean boost.
2) https://www.geartree.com/p-39100-joyo-j ... ables.aspx The Deluxe Crunch is on the order of the TS-9 and BD-1, but I actually like it better and use it more than my TS-9. Very sweet sound.

Geartree supplies two patch cables at no cost and @ $42 each, the JOYO pedals are an amazing value. Do a search and listen to each on YouTube and you'll be saving up $84 to feed your 'habit'. I'd almost guarantee it.

Thanks for the advice on the Joyo pedals. It does not surprise me that Joyo products are not only inexpensive but great products. I bought a very inexpensive wireless guitar setup from Joyo that works great with no problems...

I have recently re-evaluated my pedalboard, there may be some evictions rather quickly. I don't use the MXR Prime Distortion, and I'm going "simpler" in my tastes...

Hopefully it will be painless, lol...

The BD is the only pedal I own, never tried the tube screamer. I use it sparingly but it goes through any of my tube amps nicely without sacrificing the tonal quality of the instrument.
