The Boss RT20 has a very good Univibe effect (I think it's setting number IV) that I've used on multiple occasions. The only thing I didn't like about it is if you turned on the built-in distortion effect, things go to crap pretty quickly...but it negatively effects the other "Leslie" simulations (settings I-III) as well, so it (the distortion knob) is just a weakness of the device. I have this effect (Boss RT20) on my pedalboard, and love it.

Strymon makes a good Leslie and Univibe copy, too.

Dunlop now has the rights to the name "Univibe" and markets the effect; I've heard it used live, but never played through one. What I heard sounded good (but the users were excellent guitarists, so it would have sounded pretty good no matter what). Several users have stated it works better with the (extra) expression pedal.

Dunlop also makes the Rotovibe; it is not a good Leslie simulator, but it gets you pretty close in the Univibe tones.

...and Fulltone makes the Déjà Vibe; I've never played or heard one in person, but reviews seem pretty good overall.

Hope this helps.

I have this pedal and it's awesome.

I have the MDV2, now superseded by the MDV3

My favorite is the Haze Vibe from Wilson Effects. Boutique quality without the Fulltone price. Still, I'd like to try the stereo Fulltone.

Dano's Cool Cat Vibe is cheap and sounds great . . . if you can get past the quirks.

The Danelectro Cool Cat Vibe pedal is one of the cheapest yet it is an extremely good one for about $50.I have a Tech21NYC RotoChoir that is an incredible Leslie Simulator but it takes a good bit of twiddling the controls to get the exact tone you want dialed in.Once you have it set up right it has a very convincing Leslie sound and it even ramps up and slows down gradually just like the real Leslie.

I also have a TC Electronic Nova Modulator that is an incredibly versatile unit with a large learning curve that requires a good bit of reading up on the pretty big operating manual.Since I'm a complete Luddite when it comes to these things I haven't been able to fully explore the many capabilities of this fabulous unit, but even with my limited digital programming skills and technical abilities,I can get some pretty funky modulation sounds.

Just received a Black Friday sale notice from Black Cat. It reminded me that they came out with a pretty good vibe pedal earlier this year. You might want to check it out.

I'd recommend the TC Electronic "Shaker", simply because of the convenience of being able to beam settings down to the pedal without bending down. Good quality, no noise, easy latch mode, but like most TC pedals, it will eat 9V batteries unless you keep it plugged in.

The TC Shaker isn't a Uni-Vibe pedal. It's a Vibrato pedal.
(tremolo, really but that's another discussion)

The BOSS RT-20 isn't a Uni-Vibe either. It is a Leslie emulator.

There is a difference.

Some people seem to think that Leslie emulators, Uni-Vibes and Vibratos all do the same thing. If you listen to them side by side they are all quite different. I use all 3 (not at the same time, of course) and they all have their place.

No, it's vibrato, not tremolo. Check the first minute of this video, where the company representative makes that very clear:

And the OP didn't ask about uni-vibe, just vibe. Which it clearly is.

OK, I stand corrected on the Shaker but the OP asked about Trower's Bridge of Sighs. Trower used a Uni-Vibe for that one so the Shaker is still not the correct pedal, regardless.

Nowadays Trower is using exclusively Fulltone products. Can't say I blame him, it's well-made stuff.

There are lots of people who build their own Shin-ei Univibe copies.

Roger Mayer, the electronics wizard responsible for Jimi's and my Octavias is now making his own spin-no pun intended-on the Leslie/Univibe sounds.
