Way too expensive concert tickets are. My sister asked me if i wanted to go see Ozzy Osbourne but the cheapest tickets were like £65!!! That was the cheap seats.

I wouldn't pay that kind of money to see anyone really.

Yes cause you'd expect Ozzy, the godfather of metal, and the vocalist of the pioneering metal band in the 70's that revolutionised rock music to be really cheap, like $15.

That's far more than he charged back when he had a voice and Sabbath were topping the charts. If his skills had improved steadily over the years, sure, a hundred bucks would have been fine. But they haven't, and you get a worse product now than you did back then.

What you're paying for is fame. And I hate to tell you, guys, but fame doesn't rub off.

Highest price I ever paid for a concert?

The Stones in October 2005 at UVA Stadium in Charlottesville, VA on their "Bigger Bang Tour". We were way up in the upper deck of the college football stadium, and even so, the tickets were $106 each!!! ...Never again. :x

I actually prefer to see the old, overplayed, still-hanging-around-and-won't-retire, 60's and 70's acts at the small outdoor pavilions. You know what I mean... They're older now, a little pudgy in the midsection, got gray hair and glasses now, etc..etc.. but they can still ROCK like they used to.

Styx
Boston
Beach Boys
Chicago*
...and a bunch of others.

Ticket price:
$25: General admission - bring a lawn chair and sit where you want.
$35: If you want a "gold row" seat (an actual seat), right up at the stage.

* A little note (slam) about Chicago... Yes, I have seen the "original" Chicago back with Terry Kath, back in the day. They were incredible! And I have seen the "modern" version of Chicago twice, and both times it seemed like something was seriously missing.
Jason Scheff (lead vocals/bass) - Dude... Seriously, stop. Please, stop. You are NOT Peter Cetera. You are a natural baritone while Peter was a tenor. You're gonna hurt yourself trying to hit those high notes, and your voice cracks in the upper range. You may be able to match Peter Cetera's bass lines note-for-note, and that's cool, but come on man... Chicago needs to find a better lead singer!
The only thing that saves Chicago? Their legendary horn section is still there intact and has now stepped up front as the "highlight" of the band.
