It is a little bit of a tight squeeze, but it's worth it.

I dumped my broken bed frame for a mattress on the floor. The mattress on the floor doesn't creak loud as hell and wake me up anymore.

How do you play the drums? Hanging in through the window?

I move the farthest left crash and move around the floor tom.

Really is an open setup.

The bed creaking won't make me paranoid about being heard now!

That, and I have the house to myself on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Pile enough people on it, and I'm sure we could break the floor... 25 should be enough.

That's cool. 8) Hey, whatever works, works. I'd do the exact same thing if I was you. We have a mini demo studio set up in my office, besides having a rehearsal and studio setup that was converted from a tiny bedroom, an enclosed hall area (nice vocal booth,) and walk in closet. I always have a bass and guitar on hand, so I can play when I feel like it, or inspiration strikes. If I could, I'd have one in the loo. :P Well, maybe not there, but I like to have an instrument near by. Lately, I've been kind of lazy recording any ideas, though. I need to get on the ball and start recording stuff again. Playing and actually sitting down and recording are two separate things, when you have to do all of the extra steps involved.

I had a bedroom much like that when I was living home with my parents but since I've been out from under wings I have found out that most women don't like to share a room with the inventory of a music store in it,well at least any that I've been involved with, Probably it's because none of them were musicians.

My room at home when I was in high school was kind of an L shape. when you walk in, there was 2-3 guitar stands with whatever I had at the moment on them, my amp, a ton of pedals all over the floor, my couch in the corner (i slept on it for years, no need for a bed) and in the back , around the corner I had my drums...and my stereo. I had literally 1 foot between the corner of the couch and the drums so I could mess with the stereo and get to my closet, and just enough room to stand in front of the door and play guitar. and of course that L shape did not carry sound well at all. LOL. good times.
