After all these years of pining and praying for one I finally got a Roger Mayer Octavia pedal.I ordered the "Vision" model as opposed to the more visually striking UFO shaped "Rocket" model because the Vision model is more tweakable with more features. Now I'll be able to do really authentic Jimi covers since the other octave pedal I have leaves much to be desired.I can't wait to try it out on "Little Wing","One Rainy Wish" "Purple Haze" and "Machine Gun" and "The Star Spangled Banner"."Machine Gun" will have to really be compromised because of where the old hand speed has dropped by about 80% but the others should be somewhat easier to do. I ordered it from Moog Music in Montreal,it cost me a bit more than it would have to order a US model but I tried to order from 2 US companies and my orders weren't accepted-even though one advertised free international postage. When I went on their website there was a $50 charge for Canadian orders so that order got vetoed quickly. It should be here by Friday according to their reply email,I'll be waiting on the post office steps for it to open on Friday morning.

Nice score - the shape of the Vision model is very cool!

Best choice for the an Octavia IMO. Worth having the Tone control. Also, the designe looks roadworthy as well.
Can always try a few Rory tunes while your at it.... "Shadow Play"... "Mississippi Sheiks". Enjoy pedal!

Thanks guys and thanks Mike for posting the link. That pedal will no doubt be a real freak fest when used with the old '70 Big Muff, the old original Vox Clyde McCoy and the Rotochoir (whichcan emulate the Leslie/Univibe tones. All of that combined with the upside down lefty Strat and the old Marshall stack should give me all the Jimi vibe I need. Now all need to do is to find a doctor who can tell me what's wrong with my old mitts and how to fix them.I guess I'll have to sell off all my gear and finance a trip to the Mayo Clinic to find that out, then I'd have great hands and no gear.......that's real irony ain't it?lol.
