23 Total over the years, as near as I can remember. Currently 10 remain in the collection. Along with 16 different amps over the years of which 7 I still have.

I've had 4 amps. well, 5, but two of them were the same model.
silvertone cheapo bass amp, 1978 peavey pacer, sears & roebuck cheap POS, line 6 spider III 75w (was fun for a few months, until I tried to put a pedal through it and realized you can't get anything REAL through so much digitized crap.) and another 78 peavey pacer that I still have and love.

Edit; I forgot about these two:

1956 Airline archtop acoustic
197? Alvarez catgut/classical acoustic

Both were bought by my non-guitar-playing father when I was broker than broke; he has them in his closet, and I hope to buy them back one day soon.

Not exactly, but I don't know how many amps, keyboards, pedals or microphones I've ever owned either - so I'm good. :D

I've probably owned a couple of dozen over a period of several years. A funny story though.
When my wife and I were married I owned one guitar, a black and white Telecaster. I kept it next to my amp where I practiced. I later bought a black and white Bass and brought it home and placed it in the closet. I would bring one out at a time to practice. I later bought a couple more guitars (black and white of course) and displayed only one at a time. This continued a few years until one day I brought home a red hollow body guitar. My wife saw this and stated "you mean you've bought another guitar?" and that's when my scheme fell to pieces. Anyway I've owned several more since then and some of them even purchased as a gift from her.
I guess the moral to this story is to not switch colors without giving it some thought.

oh, didn't even think about acoustics...
18 electrics previously mentioned plus
cheapo free from my roommate back in the day acoustic, gave it to a friend
depression era Kalamazoo from my grandmother (was her father's first guitar) *
70s japanese acoustic that was my grandfather's *
mystery brand black archtop, traded it (free, in closet of house we moved into)
classical 70s guitar, traded it (also in that closet)

so, 23 all together.
