Since Baubs appears to be absent this morning I thought I'd keep the tradition alive.

I just came in from shovelling about six inches of the fluffy stuff and it's still coming down. My cheeks are rosy, my hair is wet and my pant legs are dripping water all over the carpet. Time for a steaming cuppa dark roast with a dash of Baileys.

Good morning, well good evening here!

Well today has been an epic day for me, I've been going through a long spell of anxiety and depression but today the cloud seems to have lifted for me somewhat, I've been productive and actually motivated to leave the house so I've been to the music shop, then come back and written down some of the songs I play regularly into a notebook (helps me with them to write them down rather than always looking at a computer).

Now it's 6pm and I still feel good, for the first time in months, so I'm going to go out and see my buddies tonight, today has been a very good day :D

Mojo all round!

The rain just stopped here and we are having an unseasonable 54 degrees, which I am loving. Now the sun is breaking through and I am loading the truck for a 13-hour drive starting tomorrow morning to Fort Worth to check on my ailing father. I'm taking the PA and guitar and putting on a show for him and a bunch of his friends on Tuesday. That should be interesting!

Cloudy, rainy, and in the high 70's here in Boca Raton. The weather map for the central>eastern part of the country looks plain awful. Keep you eye on the skies, ya'll. Ufff!!

Good morning to you as well!

Or should I say good afternoon. It has been chilly all week in Atlanta. The temperature right now is 57 degrees.

Dude. Yer killin' me, man!

57 is chilly … right.
Come spend a day with me.
I'll show you chilly.

It's around 5 here today. That's not the time, it's the temp in F. Just an average mid-November day.

Count your blessings where you find them.

Yup , a howling blizzard here in Calgary.

I'll be shovelling soon , need more coffee.

Gonna stay home , no blues jam today , like most Saturdays , we rarely miss one .

Where does that happen in Cowtown? Which pub? Afternoons? Evenings? I sometimes check out Blues On Whyte on Saturday afternoons in Edmonchuck.

There's a few of em , The Blues Can , Saturday jam is good , usually hosted by Tim Williams or when he's not available Vernon Wills does a great job hosting, There's one on Sunday afternoon too , hosted by Bill Dowie & the Blues Devils . The Shamrock Hotel is re-opening for the Saturday afternoon blues Jam that they had been known for , this happens every Saturday beginning the end of Nov . They've been closed over a year due to a fire , never underestimate the power of red tape. During the closure a couple other venue's have been host to the blues jam crowd from the shamrock , The Border Crossing ( yuck ) and Chelsea's ( lame ). Also, there is a long list of other pubs that host Jam's , the Ironwood , Mikey's Juke Joint , etc. , etc. , many of the locations mentioned are great music venues and book some very talented and well known artist's . Blues on whyte sounds like a place I want visit , it's a long drive from cowtown though , many of the acts that play there also play at a number of the places here that I mentioned.

Yah we get some pretty good acts there. I don't go to Cowtown too often but if I'm ever there for a Saturday afternoon I'll check it out.
