has anybody else seen them? all I can say is WOW!

a local casino had them in on Saturday night for a free show. I was blown away. having seen zep in Detroit in '77, and watched a fair amount of other material, I can say they are pretty much spot on.

the singer was great- had plant's stage presence, and a voice to match. the page player looked like he had pretty much the same equipment as page, and did a great job.

the drummer was super too-looked a bit like bonzo, and was a super player. the bass player also double on keyboards like jones.

great experience if you get a chance to see them

Sounds like a good show. But do they look like Zepparella? 8)

We have a couple of local Zepplin bands. One, Zed Lepplin is a tribute band complete w/ costumes and whether make-up or natural, they bear a striking resemblance as well. They have obviously practiced Bonzo & the Boys mannerisms, though I think the lead singer plays Plant a little too effeminate (notice I said a little). Their play is very good and they've been booked in Vegas, L.A., AC, NOLA and a Cruise Ship.

The other is a local cover band - Whole Lotta Zep. These guys are all Zepplin Fanatics who play in other bands, but book dates together to do Zep. I think they actually play better than Zed Lepplin. The lead guitar actually uses a Telecaster when performing 'Stairway' further lending to authenticity.

Either way, I'm such a Zepplin fan that I catch each of their shows whenever they're booked around here and am never disappointed.

cheers!

you can find some of their videos on youtube. they are pretty darned authentic.

as a sideline, before the show started (when it was quiet enough to hear) you vould hear a few I the crowd say "I hope they play stairway" :? there were also some yells between songs too. all those great zep songs, and they want stairway
