I randomly walked into a Pawn shop yesterday and came across this Gem. I'd been looking for a nice hollow body for about a year or so. And I finally pulled the trigger.

It's a Schecter Robin Zander Dream Police signature guitar. Ebony fret board, bigsby tremolo, Duncan Phat Cats, inlays, freaking mint condition. I was able to haggle it down to $450. Plays smooth as silk.

Cool, is it a semi hollow, or just have a block under the bridge?

That looks great.

Just for fun, here's a picture of what my first hollow body looked like (a Univox Barney kessel copy)

Good score...has a bit of a Gretsch White Falcon vibe to it too!

Nice. Similar to my Guild Starfire, which has a floating bridge and the Bigsby. That ebony fb must feel nice. Good score!

Thanks everyone, I have to admit, it's different. I'm still on the fence about the pickups. In my past experience, Phat Cats weren't my favorites, but I'll give them a chance for a while. Let the guitar be what it was designed to be.
Next will be finding a case for it. The body is so big it doesn't fit in anything I have.

I agree with T2Stratman, it does look like the Gretsch. I like white guitars anyway, nice guitar :D

+2

I got that same vibe.

A Lifton case for a long-tenon 335 may fit it.

So far, that's what most people have been saying around here too. I looked up white falcon online, and I agree myself. Of course, the Gretsch looks like it has more to it.

Whoever owned this guitar before took great care of it. The action and intonation is dead on. There's not a scratch on it. Given the quality of the build, I couldn't possibly pass it up. The Koreans did a flawless job on it, which doesn't surprise me at all. My Squier Esprit is pretty awesome too.

I just don't get it with the Phat Cats on this model. I feel like I'm struggling with them already. I really only like the middle switch position sound of it. As much as I'd like to keep this guitar original, I just know a pickup swap is coming. So the question is, with what? A white Falcon has T.V. Jones pickups doesn't it?

Very nice - I wonder how those GFS Filtertron clones would sound in it. Great score!
