I've had this Junior Jet for 2 days now and I'm liking it, aside from the tuning issues, what can it be? i'm getting it setup thursday for 10-52's because I like playing with them, so any help is appreciated

What are the tuning issues that you have?

It stays in tune for a while, but if I either hit it hard or solo it goes out

It may be as simple as getting a better wrap around the tuners. Here's how I do it...with the first wrap over the top, and the rest under, so that the string sort of grips itself.

Otherwise, the nut is the most common culprit, and your tech might look at that!

Probably just the new strings still stretching.

Wait a couple days and see if the tuning stabilizes.

cheers!

Nah no Bigsby, it's a stop tail piece like a hard tail Gibson but different, it needed new strings and I figured out how to restring it in a minute or so, my next purchase will likely be a Gretsch with a Bigsby though! but this Gretsch has cured my GAS for now, it is a great player aside from the tuning issues, and yes I'm gonna take the Vox out of my sig and put the Gretsch in there, possibly photos of my guitars one by one, and the text will say "I have a problem" or some thing like that, also how do you get locking tuners for these? :/ the stock tuners are a bit meh, but they feel great to my hand, and they're '50s style tuners, I like that look, my SX Strat has them as well, but it doesn't stay in tune either, the only guitar I have ever stays in tune is a Floyd Rose thing ironically, so lol I use the Gretsch a lot now that I don't have active pickups on this guitar it still has the stock mini humbucker, the guy I got it off only played one show with it, I'm sure he is gonna play a lot more Shows with my Vox, I may get myself another one eventually but I never liked the sound of the Bruno amps tbh, always preferred Marshall distortion, though it did have a great clean sound, it was great with an OD pedal in front, and I miss it but the Gretsch has been a want of mine ever since I played a 6120 with a Bigsby vibrato on it, of course I played Summertime Blues on it  I did do a bit of a setzer esque version of it but with the Eddie Cochran touch, with a bit of distortion on it, the filtertrons are cool pickups, I may keep the Gretsch I have stock and play it live, with a bunch of pedals to my MG combo for now, but this thing has made my MG come alive it's more gritty on the distortion channel, and it likes it, I rolled the tone off for that Gibson neck pickup tone, and I tried Sweet Child O Mine Hahaha it was close but no cigar, and my next purchase after the Gretsch with a Bigsby will either be a Les Paul Studio or a Standard :s or maybe if I save up the dough I'll get a 1958 Fender Strat like Buddy Holly and go through a Buddy Holly phase! I could get a more distorted sound and take Holly songs to a new level! and probably add a compressor pedal into my chain! I just want to make my own sound after all! and I'm liking the EQ I have currently with the Gretsch. It's a fat sounding guitar and it is cool, for an older Gretsch lol, and what would you suggest I do with it now that I have it? @SKcoppertele?
