Saw an amazing folk duo called "Thud and Blunder".
Some clown in the audience kept shouting "Masters of the Universe" - so they played the Hawkwind classic on Acoustic and tin whistle. Brought the house down, and silenced the heckler.

I've heard some hilarious band names over the years ...

'Frank's Pants' (must be a good story behind this one)
'The Vaudevillians' (Vaudeville/Villains)
'Paradoxical Popsicle'
'The Piss Shivers'
'Peat Moss and the Fertilizers'

Hmmm. How about 'Miley's Finger'?

We used to have a band around here called The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, but I haven't seen a gig listing for them in quite some time.

Very early in this thread I wrote the band name "Atomic Youth in Asia" that was used in the 70s punk band of an old school mate,I had totally forgot to mention of the band that he and a couple of members of Atomic Youth... plus some other guys formed after the band's breakup, the new band was called "Dog Meat Bar-B-Q" and they recorded a song that was a huge underground local hit called "I'm a Newfie Rasta Man" it was riotously outrageously hilarious,I used to have their one and only cassette release with that song on it but it "mysteriously" disappeared.

Shortly after the gigantic offshore oil reserves that enormously boosted our province's economy were discovered, myself and 3 buddies formed a band with an oil/nautical play on words called "Bunker Sea" which evolved into "Bunker Sea and the MGs" after a personnel change up.
