I'd love to see some of those hendrix live DVDs, I have the Woodstock concert in full but it is buried somewhere in my collection of DVDs

A lot of his stuff can be found on You tube
There are hours of viewing there.
Also Myspace has totally revamped and has free streaming of all artist's complete music catalogs.

Ok I noticed when you reply back to people your texts can use some separation.
One poster in your thread mentioned to hit enter after each sentence.
That will make your writings more attractive to read and people will be more likely to reply.
Just a helpful hint little brother.
:)
Be talking to you soon

Hi Miami Mike,Re: Jimi having a favourite guitar.According to Kathy Etchingham who was in fact just about the only woman who can honestly claim to have been his girlfriend, Jimi did in fact have a favourite guitar,it was a black Strat with a rosewood board and that's the guitar that he walked around the house all day long with it strapped around him. It also could very well be the same Strat that Jimi played for all the Monterey Festival except for his apocalyptic finale. That Strat was never seen since that I know of, as of the thousands of pix I have of Jimi, the only rosewood/black Strat I've seen him with is the 1st Monterey Strat.Kathy apparently has been offered obscene amounts of money for it but refused to sell it because despite being married to the same man for many years and having 2 sons, she still has a strong attachment to it.I'll have to buy her book and look into it further because she was said to have made the claims about the guitar in her book.

Ah yes, Kathy. She also thinks that most of this whole documentary (done with Janie Hendrix supervision) is mostly
fiction.

I know people dont like Jani I dont know why. My collection has never been so cool. I love her and Eddie.
With any estate John Lennon the Beatles Elvis etc its all about 1 giving the fans more and more and 2 cashing in.
Thats all I see going on here. I have been presented with all these conspiracy theories on Crosstown Torrents of how basicaly she shouldn't charge us because Jimi wanted us to have the music free.
Led Zeppelin KISS Aerosmith and Black Sabbath dont give anything away either.
Everyone can think how they want but I am happy to have nice things from Jimi to buy now as his estate was handled badly by his dad and Alan Douglas in the past.

I just got that 4 CD set of Jimi's, the re-issue (Purple box 'Experience'). It's probably the best CD set I have ever bought.
