To my ears you just can't beat the tone of an "L" series Strat and the shallow C profile "B" necks from that era are also what I have found to be the most comfortable of all Fender necks.

I once owned a '63 in 3TSB and it sounded like frying bacon smells......just a heavenly tone.

Hey well spotted, it was miles out !! - I have recently come down a string guage, 11's were doing my hands in (yeah I should man up) and not altered the intonation, that said it was still a long way off.
