Reminds me of Tony Iommi's SG.

Congrats on the SG! Those Burstbuckers have a really nice tone with the mahogany!

Enjoy that puppy!

hi , thanks guys , i'm mostly loving the new sg , i took it to rehersals on wed night and it sounded ok through the jcm 800 but the modern style wiring was doing my head in , i had to turn the guitar down to between 1 and 2 to get a semi clean tone for playing Badge for example , so last night i tore it down , put the burst buckers in and wired it 50's style with a couple of orange drops i had laying about ( pio caps are in the post) , i got in tonight and had a rip , wow , what a sound from the sg now , much more usable (for me) than before .
Oncei get my dinner i'm going to give it a thurough workout 8) cheers
Alan

Oh wow yall do "Badge"? I wouldn't mind hearing that. The last verse is pretty tough to recreate, with the bass bouncing around all over the place.

About the SG...satin just looks(and feels) better to me. Congrats!
