LOL, the late 60s were a very big influence on body painting. The experience is fun, I highly recommend it. (was that a pun?)

Dang people.....really?

I thought the op asked a reasonable question and did so respectfully. The answers he received, I thought, were uncalled for.
First, he knows that you can't sell, buy or trade on this forum.
Second, he thought highly enough of the members on this forum to ask for guidance to a good web site that does allow selling, buying and trading.
He knows how to google. Who don't? Weeding through the sites and trying to determine one that is reputible from one that is not can be time consuming and sometimes hard to tell the difference......until it's too late.
So he came here instead asking for our help. Thanks Rob Schwarz - Fender for doing so.
Things did get pretty rank on both sides, but it probably wouldn't have gone that direction if the op had been answered intialy with respect. You can have different opinions, but they can be discussed with respect to one another.
I joined this forum because even though I've been around music all my life and have played bass for over 34 years, I'm still a dumba@@ and don't know $@!&. So I need help from time to time and I have received some very good help on this forum.
That's what it's all about. I don't care if you just joined this forum and have only been playing for a year...there's a chance I could learn something from you. So I'll read your posts and answer with respect.
Guess I'll get off my soap box now....through ranting....go ahead and blast me now if it makes you feel better....I'll still love ya. :)

I would expect nothing else but what resulted from the guy just posting a simple question. This is the lounge. That's the way people pile on here. So-- I don't care what they think of me but that's why I don't spend much time on the guitar forums or the lounge. Bass is where it's at. Bass forums are different/ better on the Fender Forums. Much more polite and no big egocentric pile on and insulting baby stuff. 8)

There's been a lot going back and forth in these pages about attitudes. I suggest that a return to square one and a careful re-read of the tone of the OP in his first response to the website suggested by Buxom. IMHO.the tenor and tone of the OP's comments set himself up for what ensued. We don't know him, he doesn't know us, and he's off and running, reading us the riot act, and dumping on us right out of the gate. A simple 'Thank you'. 'Are there any other suggestions', would have been enough, and very much in order. 'As ye sow, so shall ye reap". It doesn't take too much effort to 'be nice', which what we've been selling here these past 6.5 years now. Unfortunately, with all the spamming, and bad-mouthing we've been getting from trolls, orks, and goblins, patience around here is wearing thin, and I can't really blame some for their responses. Those of you who take objection to their 'not-nicenesses' might take pause and reconsider your positions.

As the good doctor said, the first post with any animosity in it was written by the OP.
But it takes two to tango, and we probably should have just ignored the goading.

Exactly....
If the op is a troll....then engaging back in forth in derogatory posts plays right into his hands.

I like the old Will Rogers quote; "Never miss a good chance to shutup."

I think I'll do that now. :D

I am endeavoring to reconsider my post on this subject and am at this time considering the other posts also. There. I've done all that and will now be returning to my cave whence I came from. Thank you. I need a sandwich. :)

That was hilarious.
I wanted to post an opinion on this thread, but I had nothing positive to add, so I didn't. See what I did there? Restraint, it's a virtue.
