Hi there. I would like to respectfully find out some other good web sites / forums for fender guitars and maybe even just guitars in general. I am specifically looking for a forum site that has a selling/classified page with possibly a Fender emphasis.

For example, I am a paying subscriber to TalkBass. Paying folks are allowed to post items for sale. Anyone can respond to the ads, its just that you have to be a paying member ($20 a year) to post sale ads. I am looking for a forum like that with guitars as an emphasis. TalkBass obviously is very heavily bass oriented.

Well thanks for that  . It lead off with a guitar site from the UK. The second choice was a guitar magazine. etc... the post was your waste of time. Look, I know about google. I was looking for recommendations. Why are there such geniuses out there that nearly every request is responded to with a snarky reference to a search engine. I was simply asking for what other people like to use for forums that also include a separate classified form. Some of these sites have odd names and are not always apparent in every basic search. Man, I have not been on this site in awhile. Maybe its best it stays that way.

I am not trying to sell anything here. What is against the rules? asking recommendations for other sites? The Fender Mafia is looking ? I am sorry. I should have expected forums that are sponsored by the guitar company itself would be a little creepy. Not surprised.

Whoa... tone it down a bit... !!

Creepy... ?? Creepy is a new member going all Ape Sh*t on his 5th post !!

You make one H*ll of an entrance, berating the site, the company and our members.

If you don't like it here, leave ! I doubt anyone will notice, let alone care !

You want alternate sites ? Put your own keyboard to work !

cheers!

Number of posts ? I have not been here in a long time and had to check thru my second email account to newly register. It is quite possible that I had posted here before some of you were toddlers. The company ? I love a lot of Fender's work too. But this is no longer the little company Leo started back in 47. Is this the Fender Army now? As much as you say that I 'Berated', I came in and asked a question very politely. And have been shown to my keyboard not once but twice now. Nor has anyone addressed what is against the rules. Dang, it is night and day between independent sites and what is already looking like a flock of Fender sheep. Go play your Bullet.

So you get two reasonable responses and that's considered a "flock of Fender sheep"? From what I know, two is a pair and this post would make three, a trio. I have a feeling by the time this is all said and done, your flock of Fender sheep will have stampeded all over you.
You might and would have had better luck had you not gone on the defensive right away.
Good luck with your "hunting".

asks to be shown the door......
when he's shown the door, he wants someone to show him where to go...
then becomes insulting.......

wondering if he's 15 yet........

Bullet? had a Bullet Bass decades ago.....played fine for a short scale bass, and I could afford it even when I was poor.

but i'd prefer to go play my new Guild (FMIC) Savoy archtop...
it's a bang up great guitar !!

baaaaaa
baaaaaaaaaaaa

yes, the s/a is back !

Wow. this is the twilight zone. If anyone does care to read... not a single topic that I carefully brought up again and again was addressed. Just a piling on. And yes, as ignorance was being flung my way, I flung back a bit. Yet again, my original post which this whole argument stems from was full of nothing but politeness...... met by a snarky goodle link...... which if that link produced anything meaningful, I would have been humbled. But no... it was a wasted post. If you don't know what someone is asking or feel superior to them (perhaps due to my low # posts), then why? Why respond? What a weird strange corner of the web I have found. Go ahead, take it up another notch. By now I am not surprised by anything here. Maybe just stumbled about here at the wrong time. Good luck. :D ufnaholes (burp).

Fee Fi Fo Fum.

I think I might smell a disgruntled former Forum member come back to stir up something stinky.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I'm withdrawing my post because I hadn't read his subsequent posts, but the guy is definitely the type of person who is usually described by others by naming a part of a person's nether regions.I wouldn't spare him a drop of my bladder juice if he were to burst into flame let alone give him the names of other sites that he could inflict himself upon with his trolliness. What a maroon.
