Welcome to El-Forum. Very cool Guit-Fiddle and Amp. The Mustang amps are addictive things... 1st it starts by trying out the presets... all 100 of them... Then you find yourself tweaking them till the pigs come flying home... or the alarm sounds for the Day Gig. Whichever comes first ;)
Tons of fun in a bright racing red package. Enjoy your new Rig!

Yes, very true, I've been messing around with the presets most of the day, during chores around the house anyway lol. Kind of getting used to it a lot more now though. Thanks for the welcome too. :)

Thanks it means a lot :). Wilko Johnson always played without a pick, the red pick guard he added so that it didn't show up his blood when he hammered away on the strings. Like Joe Strummer of The clash he was left handed, but insisted on learning to play right handed. Check the vid below for some of Wilko in the early days of Dr Feelgood.

Really thin strings?
I find myself using picks less and less. Sometimes a banjo thumbpick, but mostly no pick at all, just my nails. Can't say I've drawn blood, though. Only on my left hand, when a bent string on an old high action guitar popped up and went under the quick. (Yes, you're allowed to wince)

And I tried SRVs remedy - superglue. It doesn't work.

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. Never checked Dr. Feelgood out before. Great energy and I love the guitar work and the way he points that Tele menacingly around as if he's aiming a shotgun. I'll definitely be looking for more of their songs!

Funny you say that, I'm left handed and playing guitar or drums lefty feels so foriegn to me.

Great band, I don't think they were quite as good when after they gave him the boot, lost all that energy, that's not to say that the guitarists were not any good, just didn't have the same Wilko routines, and energy.
