Holy crap! That must have been planned better than a multi-million dollar art heist at a major museum! That's a lot of guitars to haul away and it must have taken some serious time to execute. I'd have had security all OVER the place!

No details on the theft yet though. Maybe a truck stolen? That's a lot of gear to have stolen in one haul.

One of the amps was a Silverface Champ, if I was the owner of the store I'd have locked that Champ away and also with all the rest of the stuff as well, Of course i'd sleep there by night time with a guitar in my hand and an amp I would be sleeping on :D

Is it bad that I went down the list making a mental note of which ones I'd steal?

A successful heist that big and I'd have to be suspicious it's not an attempt at insurance fraud. I wonder what business is like or was the owner looking to sell but couldn't?

Seriously.. Who has stock that valuable and doesn't have basic security that wouldn't alert anyone?? :? Not even a security monitoring company nor the police? I smell a rat..

No theft is that perfect that they would get away with all of the stock. No way.

They must've had some kind of surveillance system. On the other hand (this one) - this screams insurance fraud to me.

Not only do the thieves have to steal the hundred+ guitars, they need cases to put them in for transport, arrange the amps (and not light ones either), etc. Then lug them out.

+1 Mike. The cases would have been stored elsewhere and they would have had to gone to the trouble of putting them in.

My best guess the good part of an hour and a half to pull this off..

I find it also suspicious that the perps would have confidence taking their time hauling out something as heavy as a pair of SF Twins.

Maybe Bon Jovi isn't paying Phil-X enough.

You never know...he was their spokesman/demo guy.
