Just something interesting I saw in the picture of Leo with all the guitars.

There's a sunburst strat (pretty sure it's a strat) near the very left edge of the picture that has 3 pickups, and the bridge pickup isn't staggered. It's parallel with the other 2 pickups??

It's a Fender Bass VI.

Howdy

I'd name it, but then I'd have to name it a female one, but then if I did that my girlfriend would be all like "Do you prefer that name to mine??? Who is she??? Are you cheating on me???".

So to save my neck, I only call it my #1.

I've named my electric guitars and my Miata using Japanese names.

2005 Squier '51 - Taka - means Hawk
2006 Squier Cherryburst Strat - Yume - means Dream

and my car

2001 Mazda Miata Special Edition in British Racing Green - Washu - an anime character from the multiple Tenchi series.

Surprised to hear that your girlfriend doesn't say "But shouldn't I be your #1?"

I don't name my guitars either. My wifes on the other hand calls them by names I wouldn't feel comfortable about posting here and still remain a forum member.

I used to have a Jackson Dinky that I called "The Shanker" because I'd poke my friends in the head with the headstock, then they'd bark at me to quit "shanking them with the guitar" LOL.

That's hilarious. I'm thinking of buying that guitar just for the same purpose.

I do recall calling my Ibanez a bad name in the heat of the moment while playing once but I never formally named my guitars.
