We've all done it. We play guitar, go do something real quick and when we come back the pick has been eaten by the invisible pick-munching monster, and it's never to be seen again.

How irritating is it!!!??? I must have gone through like 1,000 picks already. And they just disappear too! They don't turn up under my bed or anything. What do you dudes do with your picks?

I use a pot but I always seem to lose them in that moment of guitar unconsciousness when I'm called away..

Picks are a distant relative of socks. Sometimes they just up and disappear. That's why I usually have around 100 picks in a wooden box near my amp.

Pick Trivia:

In a pinch, guitar picks make excellent firestarters.

It is very irritating! Just yesterday, I went from playing my Strat to Ibanez. Started doing some harmonics and noticed they weren't there. What!? Oh, I was using the Strat pick on the Ibanez which still had its pick under the first fret. Doh!

They disappear into a black hole. I lost dozens in my dorm room this past year and found none of them in the move-out process, even after the room had been stripped and everything emptied.

There has to be about 100 picks laying around my house, school, and car. I try to keep in them in a little dish by my amp, but when they get jammed in my pocket, they usually end up lost to the black hole.

yeah, a friend gave me this one pick to try out and I really liked it. So I was playing with it and then something happened where I guess it brushed off onto my seat and I thought I had lost it...thankfully I found it, but that was a close one. My picks are always either in my pocket, on my desk or night stand....oh! or in my hand! lol

My wife finds them everywhere, even places I know I haven't been. She'll come up to me and open her hand saying "Oh look what I found" and there's 5 picks in her hand.

And isn't it itersestin, that when you need a pick, there's only Change in your Change Pocket, but when you need Change, there's only Picks!
