I'm not sure about the arrangement, but pretty good playing! Keep it up, Nathan, you're rockin'. 8)

Nathan...don't know why you choose to piggyback an issue into this post of your performance. You're only inviting a response and it is these sorts of things we endeavor to discourage in our deliberations. The hows, whys and wherefores of your issue are irrelevant. Leave the baggage backstage when you come out to our microphone. Keep working on your style and yours skills. If one of us seeks to wrongly goad you, we'll deal with it. I didn't see anything untoward happening here until you invited a rebuttal. What ever came before is irrelevant to this post and explanations are not desired.

Let it go.

I have to admit. That was some darn good playing. (I liked the behind the head part). I'm,not going to deny you of that. I still think you need to work on being less annoying. But thumbs up on the playing.

I suppose I should recognize that his playing Hendrix behind the head and with his teeth is akin to my duck walking Chuck Berry or kicking my piano stool back playing Jerry Lee Lewis 55 years ago. Of course, one could run up quite a tab in piano stools back then. 8)

Not bad playing. A nice surprise.

If I were to give a couple of recommendations:

1: Relax a bit. You seem pretty high strung and impatient.

2: Try to put more of you into it, and less of copying your hero. Learn the techniques of the masters, but don't mimic them. When Jimi Hendrix did something, it was because he felt like doing it, not because that's how Buddy Guy or John Fogerty played the same song, and not because he had practiced and come up with The One Way of doing a riff that he then would never deviate from.
If I want to hear how Hendrix would play something, I will put on a Hendrix video, and not go to see Nathan Brown. If you want people to go see Nathan Brown, you need to provide something different.

......also: I have pleasant memories of setting up for school gigs and appreciate how they can be tasking particularly if you're not working a stage with a curtain. Your band will look much tighter and together if you can pre-EQ and sound check before you go on so all you really have to do is flip a switch. It's great to walk on, strap on your guitars, have your drummer get seated and tap off into it without having to 'adjust your goods', so to speak. That's the way we used to do it at the Cafe WHA??? in Greenwich Village back in the day.

Nice playing Nathan, I'm fairly sure you have surprised a lot with this video. Keep it coming, keep playing and you'll be a pro and have girls throwing themselves at you.

Don't listen to any negativity- this only comes from negative and spiteful people and don't incite others to do so... afterall, this is the internet and nothing to take personally.

:)

Nice playing! Keep up the hard work, it seems to be paying off.
Also, as others have said, stop trying to be Jimi and just be Nathan.
