Don't get me wrong,...I am not in any way getting ready to bash British amps in this thread at all,...I am sure there are some really good ones out there from Vox,Marshall, etc. I have decided to stay with Fender amps and with a 50th birthday coming in February,...well,...I want a Deluxe Reverb RI amp along with a Tele. I am choosing a DRRI amp for a reason,...the sound and having vibrato! For a guy who likes The Seekers and wants to keep their music alive with instrumentals of their songs once I learn them,of course,...the Tele and DRRI amp might be the best choice for their music and some country/gospel music. For classic rock such as Buddy Holly,Gerry Rafferty,etc,...my Strat and HRDlx III will fill that spot. I enjoy all kinds of music EXCEPT opera, rap, and heavy metal! There may be times where I'll want to play the Tele through the HRDlx III amp and the Strat through the DRRI amp, though. I'm a Fender guy and staying with all Fender gear! :D

I own a wide range of amps of different vintage, size and output from many different makers, about 45 in all. I have all-tube, hybrid-tube and solid state. I love variety and I would never limit myself to one type of amp, let alone one brand.

I can see your point in having variety,...but I must admit that I am one of those who like to,...and try to,...remain brand loyal,...it's just the way I am. As a ham radio operator, most of my gear is Yaesu,...but I do have a Kenwood 2m mobile rig in my truck and one of my HTs is an Alinco 2m handheld. That may soon change as well,...to all Yaesu brand gear! As for my guitar(s) and amp(s),...all Fender! :D :D
