I was in my local store yesterday when I noticed they had 2 of these guitars and a bass version. I plugged into a Hughs and Kettner Tubemeister 18 and played it. I could definitely see myself getting one in the distant future.

Honestly, it was excellent. The feel, the sound, the tonal options. The neck had a unique, yet comfortable shape. I'd honestly put this as better than most Squiers in the same price range. ($339 at my local store)

Just thought I'd share.

I'd consider it a back up to a back up guitar. If they had a hardtail version, i'd be all over it.

I'm not sure that kind of trem is blockable. It's basically a Jazz/Jag trem, only boxy.

I know, that's the strange part.

Also, tbh, I think you'd be into the Galaxie bass. They had this bright orange one that looked killer.

The Galaxie guitar sounded pretty good.

It sounded fatter than the 1960s Teiscos/guitars with similar pickups and wiring. it wasn't really washy or sloppy sounding either.

Kind of looks like a stretched out Tele-strat with some switches. Those fret markers are interesting. I guess this qualifies as 'odd-ball'.

That is funny. I don't care who you are.

(Frank, I hope you'll take it as a compliment if I borrow that meme for other uses!)
