Vintage oddballs?

How about Hagstrom, Mosrite, or Burns?

Or a Univox High Flyer?

Ahaha, all I can say is good luck to a Mosrite under $500.

I'm seeing some great suggestions, guys. Thanks 8)

James, are you looking for Jack White volume punishing highs with a Leslie West volume pounding mids and lows. Proceed with caution, you must try it first because if it plays live like the originals, oddball. Some members have experience on both sides of the isle with this company. They sure look real

talked with a salesman at a guitar store in Carpentersville, 400.00. I wonder if the store will toss in a gig bag :D

Dat's dem, bro. They're as oddball today as they were out of Chicago 55 years ago. There's a one hit wonder out of that time recorded by a NYC band 'The Bell Notes' entitled "I've Had It" which was I seem to remember was recorded with one of those. That was one of the 'be the first on your block to learn the guitar solo', recordings of my day. Life was simple then. It weren't no "Crossroads"..

Hey Buxom, this just popped up on my local CL:

60's Egmond electric guitar - $135 (Rockland)

Here is a pretty rarely seen Egmond electric guitar. Made in Europe (Holland) fully functioning, could use some fret work...but not needed. With original chip case.

Just purchased a Jay Thurser Surf Master for well under $200. How about Danelectro's? I have three; a Convertable, Pro 56, and a Dano Blaster, all mint and all three didn't cost $500.

I actually enjoy Danos. If the Hodad I saw on CL a month ago was still there, I'd probably snap it up too.
