I've bought a boss rc3 and I'm in a heap. When I go guitar----looper----amp, it works fine, though I can't put multi amp channels on the pedal and the drum beats also get washed in amp effects, though clean is fine.
So I decided to send it through the stereo fx loop
I have gone:

Guitar-----amp:
Then fx send L&R---looper---fx return L&R. This works fine. Can multi amp channel loop.

My pickle is that when it plays back the sound goes up and down, and for so e reason the guitar volume turns the loop playback up and down,. The only time it's playing back in full volume is when a note is being struck and it's a pain in the $@!.

Also when it plays back both normal and via guitar volume it cracked and cuts in and out. I've changed cables copious times and run it mono and it does the same
