Hello, I have a Fender Super Sonic 1x12, on the back panel of the amp there are effects send and return each with their own corresponding volume/level control. Now I've read that this can be used as a volume boost or as an attenuator by connecting a short 1/4" unbalanced directly from the send to the return and using the send and return levels as a sort of master control. I'm interested in using this method to act as an attenuator, does anyone have any suggestions, or experience in doing this.
Should I dial the send to max and turn down the return, or what?
Thank you for any help
