Yea, I'm not sure where this little black tray came from, but it's the perfect size to fit right under the amp handle and hold 30 or 40 picks easy.

Lol, I've only had like, one pick for the past two months. I wish I had that much.

These have been collected over years. my local store gives me like 6 for a dollar.

Plus, I'm always finding them on the ground at school.

That works.

What fix do you have for 3 kids under 9 in the house? I can never find a pick.

I've started growing picks. With age, there's the benefit of much harder nails. Sure, I use picks too, but more and more I find myself using nails, even when not fingerpicking.

As for where to keep picks, well, clothes manufacturers keep on producing trousers with a watch pocket, despite very few people using a pocket watch anymore. What else is it useful for except picks?

I keep a small knife in mine, I use to keep quarters for a payphone before there were cell phones. :)

i bought some red donlop picks back in 1985. 10 to a pack at the time.. i have one out of the package and 8 left in it. i keep them in a tin cigarette pack i bought way back when. i temporarily lost one through my ac 30 vent. but when replacing a tube there it was just waiting to go back to the tin package.. those are the only picks ive bought in all that time. although i do have some from bands i like with there name on them .... but i dont use those..

I bought a gross (144) of fender picks in 1973 still have about a dozen left, I gave most of them to friends when they come over to play. I use stone picks now if I use one at all.

Actually the easiest way to not lose picks is to not use them, so you don't have them.

But while I do use my fingers sometimes, I also use a pick a lot, and I have many as I buy them here & there, especially if I come across something a little different.

I try them for fun.

I mostly use stone picks, Tortex, and double picks.
But I'll use others as well.
