Yah. I know what you mean. Just filled up yesterday with a $0.25 per gallon off coupon. 15 = $60. Coupon = ~$4 back. Oooh. So it was only $56 for 15 gallons.

More strategic driving, people. Plan your trips and try to pack as much punch per trip to avoid waste. I still haven't seen those cold fusion cars in production yet... ;)

Its like $3.75 a gallon down here (and increasing), and insurance for me when I turn 16 is most likely going to be $350+. Its just not RIGHT. Technically, I likely wont be able to actually DRIVE 'till I'm at least 17 or 18.

My dad just bought a 1983 Nighthawk 550 to save on gas money. It gets 48 miles to a gallon. It's a nice bike too. Only payed $1,000 for it!!!

Deal with it. Other parts of the world have had it a lot worse for a considerable while longer, perhaps its time the US started thinking about conservation? Get rid of all those gas guzzlers and maybe start buying cars which'll deal with the situation better?

In Europe a big part of the price per gallon (or liter) are taxes. Taxes are much higher for gas in that part of the world. Why it's always cost more than the U.S.

You just can't blame Bush though. Both parties
are to blame for this mess. And it looks like it is not going away anytime
soon. The election looks like it will be a billion dollar campaign so who
ever gets elected is going to owe a lot of favors. I wish they would limit
campaign season to six months before the election. The whole thing is
just to long. We a can deside who we want to vote for in that time. That
may cut the cost of running and people owed favors. Just wishful thinking!

If you want to get super technical on Blame Laying, you got 6 out of 7 years of Republican Leadership in Congress, 7 out of 7 years of Republican Leadership in the Senate and Oval Office. 1 Year of Democrat Leadership in Congress.

So, Democrats can have 1/20th the Blame, Republicans get all the rest, plus bonus points for Vigorously Re-Electing a Proven Bad President. Democrats had no Problem firing Carter when the Time Came.

Quick Score-
Republicans 95% Blame
Democrats 5% Blame

It's Not a Blame Game. It's Blame Business. It's part of a voters resposibility to notice a Bad Job when they see it. Face it, The Republicans have had control for the last 7 Years, they got us in this mess. Republicans in Congress blocked every measure the Democrats brought to the floor. When the Democrats got control of Congress, less than a year and a half ago, Bush blocked every bill they sent to his desk. If you don't want to Blame Bush and the Republicans, what do you suggest we do, Vote for them all again, and get rid of the Democrats that tried, but couldn't stop them???? That's INSANE, ABSOLUTLEY INSANE!!!!!

The only course to take, in a two party Government, is to let the other guys try it for a term, if they do good, let them try again, if they don't, you hope the other guys had a chance to get their act together. Politics can be simple if you let it.
